A lot more hours than necessary. lol. 7600+. My 121 time is over 20 years in my past; and I've been doing 135 for 14 years. Maybe 5000 hours between the 121 and 135? Can you tell I'm old and walked in with paper logbooks? Ha
I put my first app in, in January. Did a conference and was told I'd hear almost immediately. Heard nothing, until the new app system went into effect.
Be patient and keep updating. Research yourself extensively, and get at least 3 internal recommendations. Good luck!
