How can you blame this on the R’s? The D’s are the ones that decided to they weren’t going to let them strike. Even the liberal media has been reporting on this in a non friendly light for the D’s. The GOP might not be blameless here but pinning this on the R’s seems misguided. Listen to Saagar and Krystal on this, good reporting. She is a hardcore liberal but doesn’t play games. The D’s are terrible when it comes to organized labor issues. They did great reporting on Starbucks too, there was no help from any D’s short of Bernie.
My post was not about the separate imposition of contract- it was about the separate bill to amend it to include sick leave. There is one party alone that blocked that change. That was my only point, after JB wondered aloud why the all powerful.gov dons r make it happen.
