I thought retro applied the new hourly rates to the block hours flown since the contract became amendable. The retro applied then to flight pay and flight advance, not the whole W2.
UNAs were paid but didn’t fly. No block hours, no retro flight pay? (I’m not advocating either side of the argument)
The AIP says it’s applied to the “pilot’s eligible earnings,” the definition of which could be very much against the UNAs’ interest and for the company’s.
Edit - they’re not even calling it retro, it’s a “one time payment after ratification.”
