That outfit is a parasite on the industry. It needs to go away. It's a shame these crooks are going to hurt so many employees.
There have been a lot of truly crooked things that have occured in business, particularly the relative near-term past (Enron, MCI, etc). That said, every businessman is not a criminal, and every company that goes bankrupt is not a fraud. Sometimes, although hard to believe, really crappy ideas make it from the drawing board to reality. I am NOT saying Skybus is a crappy idea per se, just stating a general fact. In the due dilligence process they probably did not plan on todays price of oil. Also - do not forget the role of the bankers and financiers - somebody outside of Skybus did the due dilligence for initial financing. These financing institutions will often enforce these changes to cover their slip-shod due dilligence.
Don't assume the people leaving are criminals - bad businessmen yes, but criminals no.
