Today starts a special MEC meeting for our representatives to give direction to the Negotiatimg Committee moving forward.

I know it will not surprise most of you that I’ve have communicated my thoughts on why we must have massive improvements to our sick leave & LTD to catch up to what DAL has had for over 6 years.

Please take some time as it’s not to late to communicate to your representatives that we must at the very minimum match the DAL AIP but hopefully exceed the DAL AIP to set the bar higher. This not only help the rest of the industry, but DAL too because of their Me Too clause.

It’s about time we the United Pilots do our part in the heavy lifting process to raise the bar and not rely on others (mostly DAL) to do so for us.
