First off what does JSing have to do with contracts?
It has everything to do with it. JSing is a union negotiated privilege. Without unions creating jumpseating in their contracts we would not have that opportunity.

Seggy are you in the NE? Our current JS coordinator is in IAH and I spoke with him on Tuesday about this and he said there were a few cases where our guys were denied a seat in the NE when space was available.
He said it is not a widespread thing and isloated and he contacted the XJet JS coordinator to discuss it. The person I spoke to is B.N.
I lived with B.N. for a few years and is a good friend of mine! I thought he said guys where not denied, just questioned about the vote. I could be wrong. I just hate guys on the internet creating problems when there aren't any.
Seriously though, our pilot group
REALLY dropped the ball last August. If I was at a union company and I saw a Colgan jumpseater asking for a seat. They would be sitting in the cockpit and educated about the benefits of a union.
