Retirees and low time pilots are exactly what this company needs to keep pay rates from increasing. Since I left pay has not been increased. I flew with fos now Captains making less money than other RJ fos all because of the guys that can’t give it up. Give the next generation a turn. The XFAC committee is worthless. One of my old fos now Captain is a XFAC rep and I have never seen someone that cares about other more than him. Even he told me that he doesn’t think he can get through to the company about their pay. I would have stayed until FedEx or a legacy hired me but the grass has been greener and so has my pay checks. Management reads these threads. I know that me and many others would have stayed 1-2+ years if a respectable pay raise was given. Fos making $30k a year to fly a jet was fine 10 years ago. Today not so much. Their direct competitor Aero is hiring captains making $120k+ a year. They’re hiring retired and make more money. Go there. Until then, stop throwing JSX a bone by undercutting their pilots. You are undoing everything you worked so hard for throughout your career… unless you’re a scab.
