You don't get it. Pilots pay goes to top, guess what FAs want top pay, rampers, mechanics, etc. Overall labor bill is HUGE for any airline. I'm not not just talking about pilot pay. Total labor. Your business models thrives on lower costs which pretty much equals lower wages all around.
Same story at the legacies… it seems like you’re trying to paint this picture to make you feel superior at your airline. Maybe? Well news flash you flying your A320 around is no more special than Spirit pilots flying their A320 around. I know a guy that failed her/his checkride. Got fired from their LCC. Within a month hired by United. We’re all on the same team here as pilots. Why not fight and make good reason for your peers to get what they deserve.
