You're lucky. It was Orville that had that first fatal crash, an Orville did the flying, anyway. Wilbur was more of an "I'll tighten the flying wires for ya" kind of guy.

You wouldn't want Orville on your record. The guy crashed a lot. That, and between he and his brother, falsely took credit for first in flight, and single-handedly managed to hold back the progress of aviation in the USA for nearly a decade and a half while the world shot forward.

Wilbur was really good at folding paper cranes, anyway, and nobody could match drapes and furniture like he. Some say it was really his forte. We shall never know.

I can remember when an autopilot was a thick rubber band snapped between the control yokes of a light airplane. Worked pretty good, too.
