When I look at any cockpit all I see is a paycheck and a schedule. I’m glad we have the 320 and 756 fleets because it buys me artificial seniority from people senior to me who put their preference on what they fly or where they layover. I never fly red eyes, trips are always commutable both ends, and usually only fly 2 legs per day. The 320 is definitely a more comfortable cockpit, but I couldn’t bid the same type of trips. Considering that the pay is basically the same, I’ll take the junk jet with the better schedule.
