This is a really bad look for the union. Our lack of current contract stems directly from a two part recipe, an inept union and an approach to getting a new contract that drove a wait and see approach from management.
The wait and see approach from management is now totally justified given the advancement of negotiations handed to us by the DALPA clan. Especially if SK is serious about “industry leading”.
There is nothing but some surveys on what people want right now, nothing tangible to negotiate off of. We look dumb.

Exactly. And it continues to be an embarrassment as the union pulled what they offered to the company after Delta’s agreement came out. Still obviously, and embarrassingly short; but they blame the bad man. Yeah, we’re 4 years late but we’re here now and I agree with you 100%. We need it done and we need it light years ahead of where it was, but ALPA complaining after Tumi… ok
