As an outsider looking in, it's not a good sign that pilots on this board are soft siding with their CEO (against their own pilot group) over a photo shoot like this. Making excuses for SK saying he has a "fiduciary duty to low ball you" and "this is not a good look for ALPA" are really playing into the narrative your management team would like during these tenuous contract negotiations. What were they supposed to do? Go out and shake his hand while picketing?
The process is not sexy (recalls, new NC, etc) but it sounds like you are ultimately going through it to achieve a better contract. For all our sake, we're rooting for you.
