I am genuinely surprised at how many people seem to think that this bargaining environment is anything like a year ago, or two years ago, or 10 years ago, or any time since the 1930s.

This is a different world. Jetblue has a bunch of airplanes coming and is fixing to have a negative head count to fly them. If they could they’d be hiring private pilots and jamming them through like they did prior to WWII, but they can’t.
