Actually they failed by a huge margin. The goals however were ridiculous. The problem the MEC now has is walking back their promises. Goals, desires, wants, dreams and even what you actually deserve are irrelevant. The only thing that matters is what you can achieve under the NMB processes. The MEC finally had a come to Jesus moment and it appears that became clear to them. Making it clear to the pilots will be more difficult. I suspect the MEC got 99% of what the process will allow. Delays just cost the pilot group even more money going forward.
