If you are on the fence, "a couple of months" is too long to wait with all the AIPs dropping in rapid succession. There needs to be movement NOW. By any comparison, airlines that are our "competitors" have AIPs or new contracts (Alaska, Spirit, JetBlue, Delta) or have voted down deals(American, United), all of which are significantly better than the garbage the company is offering.
If the company continues to refuse to give us the work rules that literally every other airline already has and continues to offer insulting pay rates, then there really is no reason for a fence sitter to stick around. There is enough data out there now to give a direction for rates and the work rules have been in place for years. If the company isn't coming to the table with an acceptable deal now, they have plans that don't include significant growth over the next five years.
Wonder how many pilots it takes to be charter drivers to get people to sunseeker in PGD? I bet it isn't 1100 (or 2000, or 5000).
