Just wondering if anyone here can confirm or deny these rumors. If so, will Delta then give you an ATP checkride during training?
I’m probably going to be paying for my own atp ctp pretty soon and was trying to figure out if it would be worth it to go do it through Delta. There are many other options within driving distance of me and they all cost less so it would definitely be more convenient not to use Delta, but if people are getting job opportunities right out of the course then I tend to think it would be worth the extra grand and an airline ticket. It definitely all sounds a little too good to be true though so hopefully someone here can shed some light on the subject.
TIA
They do give a recommendation but it doesn’t guarantee you an interview, CJO, or expedite your resume/process against others. It was a great course I really enjoyed it and the instructors are retired Delta and speak to what they know (Delta) rather than generalisms. If you’re looking to just check the box I think you could go anywhere but if looking for a peek at Delta IMO it’s a good opportunity that exists I would say try it out.
