I kind of agree with you. Not because "hey, its allegiant". But more that I'm willing to leave some money on the table in favor of the quality of life that comes with being home at night. That's something you won't get at delta. And allegiant has better basing for me, but that's subjective. But the pay needs to be much closer for sure.
You better get your preferred bases codified into the next contract then. Home every night is meaningless if your home base closed or shrinks. We are home every night because that's what the company wants right now, not the pilots. If and when it suits them then the party is over.
