A) My bad for communicating Apollo had purchased. Thanks for the correction. Atlas owned w Atlas initiating the cost cutting. Was told it was being done to improve the numbers for possible purchase by Apollo.
B) I’m just the messenger.
C) The chances of international fares being comparable with domestic is quite low & 0% for round trip tickets to Australia & back for the some 500 Aussies now at Atlas.
D) My second year hourly is $140 but it was $280 per hour for “76” of the 116 hours I flew last month plus DH pay. Before taxes, it was $32,812 for the month of November. This is because the company pays 200% of hourly & (200% of deadheads, normally paid at 50%, so 100% of hourly for DH on GDO/days off worked. Not everyone does it, of course, but for those who do, it has been wonderful. The 200% GDO pay structure has been in effect for about a year. With the addition of two additional 400F’s, I don’t see it being discontinued anytime soon. I am delighted to know that Atlas pilots are making so much more than National pilots.😀[/color]
