I didn’t even notice that you were once at Breeze! Yea there was definitely a lot of smoke and mirrors (still is), but I have faith that the market will continue to determine work rules, pay, QOL. The only thing we are really missing is 401k. And while I’m still very young, I feel it’s a risk worth taking. A legacy job will never be a bad choice. But also, for me, I’ll make right at 220k (my first year) for 2022, and I see my kids every day/night. Each is their own to pick what works best for you. But I enjoy it right now. It's definitely the wife and kids for me. If you factor in lower chances of a divorce and wayward kids that can't get scholarships at their choice university (or worse), you might as well be making half a million at Breeze. I'll recalculate my destination ETA at the next waypoint (when the kids are gone).
