Yes, you are correct. I wasn’t very clear on what I was trying to say. But you are correct that you will have to do an English test, no matter what. What I was trying to get at was that in addition to the 14 theory exams, medical, and Checkride, you will also have to get a radio license. For some countries, this is another radio license test on top of the radio theory exam for the ATPL. But some countries issue it strictly on the basis of your English language test.
