It was pretty clear to me on todays pub call that our negotiating committee has accepted concessions. He seemed genuinely angry by the the increased calls for NO CONCESSIONS and by the pilot group pointing out that other properties are able to negotiate gains without giving away anything. When other airlines raise the bar it is time to rethink our positions and determine if we are on the right track. We do it all the time while flying. We make course corrections to ensure we stay on course. We shouldnt decide the course we planned before takeoff is the correct path when winds have clearly shifted.
Agreed. NC chair is extremely out of touch.
