How do you guys make it work when you have two “must attend” events in a month that aren’t within 6 days of each other? The thought of WB (I live in base) has crossed my mind but I have stuff going on in my personal life more than once a month.
‘it’s definitely not for everyone. If you have young kids, or teens in HS playing sports, it’s probably not the right time for WB reserve. However, if you don’t have kids and don’t care when you work (weekends, etc) then it’s pretty good. In the fall, winter, and spring I hardly get used on trips… maybe 6 days of actual work a month. Rest of the month I’ll probably get 5-6 SCs. In the summer you will get used for 15 days of reserve on trips. I’ve been doing it for years and rather do this than sit NB Captain with a line. my golf game is pretty good when temp is above 50.
