They will give you extra sims while in training if you need it. Some regionals may wash you out if you fail any part of the AQP program.
Again, JSX is a great opportunity for people who are not yet able to go to a regional or meet mins to fly 135 IFR.
Sounds like you haven’t been here, so you don’t know what the training actually looks like to be saying what you are.
Hello all,
I am evaluating a return to flying after leaving a regional 7 years ago. I left with an ATP / CL65 type, about 100 hours on the CRJ and about 1600 hours total. I have not flown much since, just occasional recreational Cessna Flying.
I am thinking this may be a good option to get back in? How is initial training on the ERJ? Is it like a regional Indoc/ Systems/ Sims/ IOE? Do they give additional sim and IOE if needed? Asking because I am rusty but will get my IFR proficiency before applying.
Is ground and SIM in Dallas? Is DAL base doable after training? One reason I am looking at JSX is I am hearing the trips are mostly overnights? That is a priority for me right now with my family situation.
What would be first year pay with an ATP?
Thanks all for the responses!
