Atlas skipper 8yr banking $450K with 15 days off each month…? @ $276/hr, that’s 1650 credit hours for the year, 135/month. Takes a bit more than selling back vacay and picking up a trip here and there. As my Atlas buddy texted me in response: 15 days off a month doesn’t mean 15 days at home per month. Hey the numbers are the numbers, man. Just reporting what I did. I didn't count gateway days but I live close enough to base to drive. No matter what airline you work for that's the key to fine living. Just helps that Atlas only makes you do it once a month so you can drive a lot farther. That plus quite a few months of deadheading direct from home to an outstation on day 1 (or 2...) and it really adds up.
