First, 90-100 was never the pinnacle. I know more than a few who credited high 100, even 200+ on the old contract. Not how I would choose to live but it was happening.
Second, do you think AS "created" 200% lines? No, it took a total meltdown and that's what we're talking about here.
Also, the return to base within 5 hours WAS in the old contract. It still has to be "FIST LEGAL OPPORTUNITY". Just because you get back at +5 hours, doesn't mean it triggers 150% or 200%. Being that there were many weather induced cxls, there will be a lot of pilots who will not be getting the added pay outside of delay pay. Crew pay WILL fight that fight.
So yeah....the devil IS in the details....
