APL U/S
What does the APL U/S note mean? Any help is greatly appreciated.
In other parts of the world the abbreviation "U/S" means unserviceable. I'm not familiar with the term APL, so someone please correct me if I'm not right, but I would interpret that abbreviation to mean "Approach Lights." Therefore, APL U/S would read as:
Approach
Lights
Un
Servicable.
Jepp charts use the terminology
ALS out, but I think it has the same meaning as APL U/S.
