Because you made a generalization based off a video. I guarantee I can find 10 pilots in 10 minutes that couldn't answer basic FAR questions. Nice try picking the easiest FAR to remember though in order to prove a point. There are nearly 700,000 law enforcement officers in this country and you generalize them all as being stupid. Perhaps its time to rethink the way you go about your day.
