Ya, a 50 seat a/c that burns 4-5 times the amount of fuel, cost a hell of a lot more to operate on short hopes and can't support small airports with 4000' or less runways. It's a perfect replacement.
BTW, Jets are not a replacements for Props and vise versa, but you know this.
