You know what? I'd gladly trade my 35 orthopedic surgeries, inability to have kids without having to spend $100k in IVF and surrogates and waking up every day in pain for going from college to Delta without doing that ****. Join the Navy and end up on more Army deployments and then deal with chicken**** leadership..
And to be "Rewarded" with that by fighting the VA to get 70% disability, and shown the door at 14.5 years active when they started 15 year retirements a year later.
I will take 10 years of LGA-ATL over having to put an overweight SH-60B on a single spot ship, single engine, at night, ever again.
