Sit 12 hours airport standby, THEN get called for a 8-10 hour duty period that turns into 12-14 ACTUAL DUTY.
I guess I did it the other way. 6am to 10am airport reserve? Yeah ok. Usually at the Starbucks outside security by 0730, quick badge through KCM and maybe a cruise through the terminal for plausible deniability then usually headed home around 0900. Easy peasy.
And yeah, there was never a repo.
