I was hired well before this announcement and almost to a year on property. Other airlines started significant pay increases after I was hired. This TA was later introduced and I along with my peers agreed that this would stop us from leaving to other competitors like Delta, AA or United. This is an evolving industry and for now this TA would simply keep me interested in staying just as back when the scheduling system kept me interested in staying. No matter this TA or not you’d be wise to go to a legacy. Being the bottom of a youngish 8000 pilot airline with no widebodies will not favor you even if we make the same as the legacies.
If you live in Florida that might be a wild card. However AA and UAL now have Florida bases.
