Not on the ER, but during the last base meeting the plan is to keep the 350 as the long term LAX WB and the 330 is not currently in the plans for LAX, maybe this week’s plan is different but with SLC and SEA so close I could absolutely see the 330 never coming to LAX.

Speaking to the 320 in LAX, yes a lot of red eyes again. When the plane launched in LAX there were a lot of red eyes, then it actually went to zero red eyes for over 2 years. Now they are all back. So the moral of the story is Delta has no idea how they want categories to fly. As a west coast resident I can say the red eyes aren’t the worst part of the trip, you are usually pulling into the hotel at about 0330 body clock time, makes falling asleep easy and 6-8 hours pretty achievable. Generally 15-18 hours on the second layover. The crap part of the trip is the last 2 days of 7-9 hour block times to get back to the west coast and make up the credit in the trip. Pretty rare to do more than 2 legs and the NEO is giving us more long legs which results in longer layovers of late. I know the eastern bases do more legs than we do out west, can’t really speak to SEA as it’s still a growing new category.
