I wasn't planning on profit sharing since all my cohearts voted to force me to put it into a retirement account I can't use for another decade. A small part of me is thinking "If I can't get it, nobody should". Does that make me a bad person, or just still mad that my coworkers keep voting to put PS into an account where I can't use it?
Agreed. The work I do today will get used by my wife’s future boyfriend after I have a heart attack at 66 because I fly 700 hrs a year for the next 20 yrs. But hey I’m glad old cappy gets his profit sharing paid in cash because his 401k is maxed out. But the guys on the low end of the pay scale who could use the cash up front to pay for bills get to invest it.
