Exactly. And in the end it is just simple. You had a guy who surrounded himself with about 25 who listened to nothing but his promises of a lifestyle and QOL and gave them numerous or expanded ideas of never having to fly the line again all courtesy of the union and it’s members dues. All that was required to get enough here or there and drag out the timeline to coincide with a closer timeline to Oct 2022. We simply were sold out by 20-25 people at the expense of 15,000 for them to have and expect a QOL moving forward of never flying the line again. Only thing is of those 20-25 people 10 or so of them would have been flushed with the baby water cause that’s the way people like that are. They use people then when they reach the highest goal only reward those they know have the same ethics as themselves and that’s simply no ethics at all. The other 10 or so that have a little conscious would have simply be cast aside. It’s how the union has been run for the last 7 or so years and it’s gonna take years to possibly right this if ever. One man and his closet followers nearly destroyed our careers and our union. All I can say is thank goodness for Delta and Alaska at this point. Putting any trust in United ALPA is lost.
