Whats the current numbers for a new hire today seniority wise? Got hired at DAL last year and trying to figure out if it would still be worth it to jump over for potential wide body flying as a captain. Figured lots of hiring has been done each month but still in early 30s. I know a lot can change over a 30 year career and its anyone guess. That said, would it be any significance for a new hire today or minimum difference? Thanks!
I think they are in the 15k’s on seniority numbers right now. They want to be at 20k. That’s a 5k bump in a couple of years. Retirement numbers pick up in a year, a lot of folks took early retirement during covid.
If the SK plan works out, there will be a decent amount of wide body flying-heck, new hires are getting wide bodies.
Despite the complaining, whinging, and arguing on here, it’s a great company and a fantastic group of people to work with.
