If widebody is what you want, unless the Delta scope changes dramatically, UAL has and will continue to have a lot more widebodies than Delta ever will. Of course you'll lose what progress you have at Delta now, but if that's what you want, UAL might be the better bet in the long run.

However, lots of this will depend on the Chinese flying coming back--eventually.
