To add to this, I’ve been on property for a little over a year. I’ve had a line for half that time. Because of my seniority, when my monthly bid award comes out, I usually get close to nothing I ask for (day trips, certain days off). Most months, with a green reserve grid, I am able to rearrange my entire month and get what I want.

For example, January bid award came out with a bunch of 3 and 4-day trips with one redeye. I was able to swap and drop all of it and turned it into an 87 credit hour, 15 day off line with all day trips, except for one pesky two-day. I get to be at home with my 6 month old daughter every night and enjoy life. I’m not leaving NK.
