CA Tax sucks. Real estate is the best in the nation. Income tax is never fun. What really bothers me is yearly registration fees.
CA income tax however for a couple starting a family has some “as close to Europe” as the US has come by way of PTO by the state and associated protections.

I'm trying to understand how "bad" the negative financial aspects of residing in CA will go vs the "good" QOL aspects of being based there and hold a line.
