They can do like they've always done. DH to and from some other domicile to fly. Look at reserve staffing in SLC for next month, 25 CRJ CAs vs 6 CRJ FOs for 50 flying lines.
As far as transitions to the ERJ... they've been pretty much non-existent for the last 2 years. I think they ran one class about a year ago and cancelled another one or two.
how many of those flying lines are DL? I wouldn't count on UA flying lines out of SLC to far into the future.. UA wants out of the 50 seaters also.. Right now they are forcing the flying with DH’s. Pretty soon that will be hard to do. Add in the Charter side proposal to serve SLC/DEN-CYN… that takes some more flying away for the SLC OO bid packet..
