I'm thinking that making the effort ( residing in an expensive area) the first year can be beneficial on the long term or near future (seniority progression and everything that comes with it mostly)
I gatter for what you say that there is not much difference between LAX and SFO?
Thanks

You'll get better seniority progression in SFO rather than lax. SFO has all fleets, LAX does not have the 777. If you can do $3k/month for a single bedroom apartment in the nice areas of the east bay, it's about a 40 min drive to the airport. Walnut creek, danville, san ramon, dublin/pleasanton. West side of the bay check out Burlingame, certain parts of San Mateo, Foster City. If you live closer to SJC you can pick up trips out of there.
