As it stands you get to cut when redirecting from kcm. If they take away kcm, I can’t imagine they won’t have expedited crew screening. So until proven otherwise it takes 60 seconds or you are doing it wrong
And when it goes that easy that’s fine. My issue is when you set the scanner off. Pre Check is supposed to allow jackets and shoes on and that’s how I’ll go through. If the scanner goes off THEN I’ll request a private screening rather than disrobe in public view.
Also I’ve had issues when “cutting” the line upon direction to do so from TSA. Some passengers seem to have a problem with it. Bad optics for some.
