We have a very slim possibility of making a few extra bucks in '23 due to our average pay clause but it's shaping up to only be $2-$4 above our current scheduled raise. Placing us firmly behind the HA pilots. '24 has a better chance of parity but we'll wallow there for 2, 3 or 4 years cementing us firmly in 6th place as far as pay goes.
It does seem to be a good time to be a pilot for those willing to fight the fight.
It’s the glass half empty mentality. There’s some here who will always look with envy, even though you could get $325-326/hr (assuming 4/5 have new contracts), but because HAL has $329, you’ll see it as a failure. There are some details in the HA TA that are less than ideal. But that’s overlooked. How convenient your side also left out that it was 6 months at 306 while they were stuck lower, see it cuts both ways.

You’re at a Cadillac per month again.
The entire industry is. Enjoy this. Enjoy it all. It won’t last. The next downturn, losing a medical, cancer, accidental death, you make it, it’s happened. Just make the best if it and enjoy. 4/5 new contracts gets you a bump this year from 318 to about 325. 5/5 new contracts will bump to about 330-332. Next year’s Sept bump will be significant. All 5 will have new rates then. No way do we see only 331.
