The talk on here is scary. This vote should be an easy yes. The average airline strike lasts 4 days. The chances of it getting that far are extremely unlikely. If it ever does go that far, there will be a Strike Vote. That’s the no **** vote where things get real fast. The SAV is more for signaling and had a 96 percent participation rate at Delta with 99 percent of the votes as yes. This is just a step in the process. Don’t read more into it than there is. Vote yes, don’t worry about it, and let your union use the leverage to keep moving the process along. Delta’s CEO was dumb enough to go on national tv and say our vote was meaningless. That got the mediator to lean on him and the company which lead to Delta’s current TA.
