Upgrade times on east coast are long and seniority movement very slow.

The good things
1) good amount of days off (15 for reserve) 17-18 for lines
2) overall happy and motivated people to work with
3) good management and company spirit (but it has been changing for the worse over the years
4) good pay and benefits, but you work butt off for it
5) A good amount of base options

But for what it’s worth, I have received a CJO from AA and will be leaving SWA soon. I am a victim of commuting on the east coast to the worse seniority in the system and projections for me to even get to 50% seniority are still 4-5 years away (this gives you weekends and holidays off)

You are at a advantage living in domicile (just depends on which one) so go with what you wanna fly forever, 737 or a choice of 4 airplanes maybe soon 5

Wow leaving after 16 years? That should be a wake up call at management if they start to see more of that. Wish you the best of luck going forward.
