SWA training scheduling's process assumes that if you don't want to go to training, you'll just sick out and get it the next month. I'm not kidding. They don't even know the FAA rules on when your currency actually expires, so just sick out as necessary while making sure you get recurrent done by the actual 14 month deadline.
