The black and white approach to fatigue and safety is a worthless exercise. If we wanted safety at all costs with regards to fatigue, we would only fly 8a to 6p with mandatory nap time at 2. That just isn't how the world works. If we operated the airline with zero risk, airplanes would never take off.
and yet, we endlessly complain about inconvenient fatigue and clamor for convenient fatigue. Which makes the justifications hollow
