What is the manning level per DC-9s? Even if it's just 4 FOs and 4 CAs..that's 136 pilot positions NWA will no longer need, with no deliveries for NWA for at least 18 months (but realistically, probably closer to two years).

As a junior Delta guy, I'm afraid your optimism isn't rubbing off on me. And any "no furlough" clause will be great, but I imagine it would come at the expense of other compensation; hopefully the senior guys will play ball...
