I have been reading the Atlas comments for a long time. 16 years ago I was a Polaroid and now at purple but I have learned quite a bit from the Atlas posts. Getting back to the the subject good and bad, it sure looks like there has been a lot of good since my days. JD is still in charge and still the snake in the grass with the union, well deserved probably. With so many of my colleagues still at Atlas I hope they have a long and good career. Here at purple a lot of changes are starting to go from rumor to fact and as they say, when purple get a cold, the industry gets pneumonia. Not to anyone surprise a lot of our planes are heading to the desert and there are no more new hire classes for the near future. The flying will be decreased and from what I heard we will be depending on wet leases to pick up the slack, all in the name of money saving. What that will mean for ACMI is any ones guess but buckle up.
