Reserves can already fly on their days off through VDA. This gives them the opportunity to get pay over guarantee without hoovering up the open time in advance, which would make it harder for line holders to modify their schedules.
Great idea and very lucrative in the left seat…So long as you’ve been at JB for more than 18 years you can crack the top 10 of the VDA list. Once they call those 10 though, and the next 5 who have been here for 12-15..you’ll be rich.
