I’m trying to OAL jumpseat on a frontier itinerary that is convenient. However, I have a checked bag that weighs 50lbs.

I understand that frontier reduced checked bag weights recently to 40lbs.

How strict would frontier be on overweight bags for a jump seater in reality? The Information I’ve found states oversized/overweight fees could be applied.
